Kilimambogo — also known as Ol Donyo Sabuk — is a rewarding day hike located just 60km from Nairobi within Ol Donyo Sabuk National Park. The forested trail winds through dense indigenous forest teeming with buffalo, colobus monkeys, and over 300 bird species, emerging at the 2,145m summit where sweeping views over the Athi Plains, Fourteen Falls, and on clear days Mt Kenya and Mt Kilimanjaro await.
